Everyone has had the moment: the doctor asks how long it has been going on, or the month ends and the money is just gone, and the honest answer is that you have no idea. Not because you did not notice at the time – because noticing and writing it down are two different jobs, and the second one never happens. Gepeta exists to do the second job.
Every tracker makes you decide what kind of thing you are about to enter before you can enter it. That decision is the reason people stop. Gepeta takes one ordinary sentence and works it out afterwards, which is the only order that survives a real day.
Gepeta is meant to be your own handwriting, not a report written by somebody watching you. It keeps your phrasing, never talks about "the user", and never turns what you said into an assessment of you. In a year the record still sounds like the person who lived it, because it is that person's words.
Machines get things wrong, so Gepeta never saves anything on its own – it shows you what it wrote and waits. And what you confirm is locked on your device with a key we never receive, because a record of your whole life is not something you should have to hand over to anyone, including us.
