Everything you confirm is saved onto the phone or laptop in front of you. That copy is the real one, not something we keep and lend back to you.

We could not read your records if we wanted to
Most apps ask you to trust that they will behave. Gepeta is built so that trust is not required: your records are scrambled on your own device with a key only you hold, before any copy of them is backed up. Below is exactly what that covers, and the one place where it does not.
The backup is scrambled before it leaves
So you do not lose everything with a lost phone, a copy is backed up to us. It is scrambled on your device first, with a key we never receive. What we store is unreadable to us, to anyone who breaks in, and to anyone who turns up with a court order.
A passkey, not a password
The key is held by your fingerprint or face unlock, kept in iCloud Keychain or your password manager. That is how a new phone gets your records back. There is nothing to memorise, write down, or keep in a drawer.
Where the honesty has to stop
To understand your sentence, that sentence (and any photo or file with it) is sent to an AI provider to be turned into a record. If you speak, the audio goes to a speech service to become text. Those services see the message on its way through. What none of them see, and what we cannot see either, is the record that ends up in your vault.
Nothing is kept without you
Gepeta shows what it wrote and waits. If you never confirm it, it is never saved anywhere, not on your device and not with us.
Delete means delete
You can edit or delete anything you have saved, whenever you want, from the app.
No bank connection
Gepeta cannot see your bank, because it never asks for it. Your spending record is only ever what you told it or handed it.
No ads, nothing sold
There is no advertising in Gepeta and nothing about you is sold on. There would be very little to sell, because we cannot read it.
Hide the numbers on demand
One tap disguises every amount on screen so you can show someone the app without showing them your finances. Your real figures are never changed.
