What it will not do

  • There is no live bank connection, and there is not going to be one. Bringing in a month means exporting it yourself.
  • A very large export will be too big in one go – split it and send it in parts.
  • Everything still waits for you to confirm it. A thousand-line statement is a thousand records to look over.

Questions about bank exports

Can it read a CSV from my bank?

Yes. CSV, Excel (.xlsx, .xls, .xlsm), and OpenDocument spreadsheets all work.

Will it lump the whole file into one total?

No – the opposite. A list of transactions comes back as one record per transaction, so you keep the detail.

Can it pull statements in automatically?

No. There is no bank login anywhere in Gepeta. You export the file and drop it in yourself.
